Rhu Blue
Founder
My name is Rhu Blue, I am a Nashville native. I was born an artist and I will die an artist.
Being from this city you would think I would have the same opportunities as every other artist trying to make their way through the art scene. What I have come to learn is that is not the case. I do not technically have the "credibility" that is necessary to put my work out into the world. I thought, if these galleries won't accept these incredibly talented artists — I could.
I could create a platform so that the underground art scene could get the proper representation. I can put a spotlight on the artists that have been cast into the shadows. I can do it my way, a way that benefits the artists instead of exploits them. I can actually build a community of people who want to help others shape and grow as they can as well.
And at the end of the day, I just want to make zines.
Wyatt Scott
Editor
Wyatt is a writer and lifelong resident of Tennessee. They harbor a fierce love for the people and history of Appalachia, and this informs the majority of their work. They weave details from the long forgotten tragedies of Tennessee into their fiction, drawing parallels between our lives and those of our ancestors. Wyatt wants their audience to understand the real Appalachia. They see art as a means to foster community and understanding with the vulnerable communities of their home state.
Wyatt loves the beauty and diversity of the entire American South, and tries to spend as much immersed in it as possible. If you can't find them anywhere else, you can find them in the mountains.
Sarah Bogdal
Operations
My name is Sarah Bogdal. I like looking at art, making art, teaching art, learning about art, and talking too much.
I am a printmaker living and working in Nashville, Tennessee. My practice is shaped by the joy of the process: every linoleum block is a visual puzzle of light, texture, and space. I pull inspiration from the most recent rabbit hole I’ve fallen into — books, music, podcasts, garbage I find on the street, doorknobs in my house. I earned my BFA from Watkins College of Art in 2018 and have since exhibited my work in 20 states, tabled at dozens of art markets across the Southeast, and regularly host workshops to recruit others into the cult that is print.
My goal is for each print to lie just shy of disorienting — visually dense enough to require a second look, rewarding those who let themselves linger.
